Finds

I don't typically blog about fashion, decor, and the like but I recently came across a few items that put a smile on my face.  And I thought I could pass the smile on to you!

Welcome Home

The plane landed safely into the LAX harbor yesterday, after soaring 22 hours above land and sea.  Marty and my Father spent one week back in Bangalore with the LMC to celebrate Great Aunt Esther's 97th birthday.  They had a tremendous celebration and even accomplished a few business items for the mission. While they were gone my 3 kiddos passed around a 105* F fever that is still lingering, so the sight of their Daddy's big strong arms brought hope and relief to us all.

Brotherly Love

They make each other giggle.  They make each other cry.  They share a room  ((sometimes I find them sharing a bed toe-to-toe)).  They play a made-up game called Best Brother and Sister.  And they argue about who is the best servant (servantly duties, I've learned, are things like getting drinks and snacks for the other, or picking up toys, or turning the music player back on at night.)  They are adorable together. They are best friends.  And they truly miss one another when apart.  Here is a recent re-union.

New Year's Eve

The weather was spectacular.  You know,  the magical combination of atmospheric ingredients that make Southern California winters envied by frozen States across the land:
warm, sunny rays piercing through nippy air to toast the skin.
Conditions perfect for releasing boisterous little ones into the outdoors for running, laughing, and cardboard sledding!
Our friends Kelly, Cole and Taylor Ikenouye met us at Ant Hill Park for a couple hours of Holiday happiness.

In the EVEning we busted out noise-makers, and let the kids stay up really late (9:00 is late around here, folks).
