Just behind our backyard fence lies an open wash covered in weeds and cacti.
The space has been begging for new plant life, so we dug into the hard soil and blessed it with nutrient-rich dirt and a whole-lotta vegetable plants and seeds.
We're hoping that a bountiful harvest awaits us in the summer months. Fingers crossed that the wire fence can fend off the hungry bunnies who munch on our grass every morning.
