At 10 a.m. yesterday we plodded down the street to Zoey's house where Jayden had her 1st oil painting class. Here is the finished product:
Zoey's Grandmother is an accomplished artist who teaches at an art studio in Agoura Hills. But for the summer she's opened her home to 4 preschoolers and is instructing them in step-by-step processes of color-mixing, layout, blending and using a palette knife. Jayden loves to share how she 'smeared' the background color, and 'scooped up' paint and 'dabbed' it to make the flowers, but she says that Teacher June painted the vase.
